This new cd from Wes King is beautiful. I haven’t listened to a lot of contemporary christian music in a long time, but I decided to get this cd because I’ve heard really good things about Wes King. I enjoy the whole cd, but I find the song “Slow Miracles” to be particularly touching. If you enjoy music with a folk feel, this cd is worth getting.

Wes King is extremely popular around our house with the kids as well as the adults. We’ve been meaning to acquire a few more of his albums for some time now. His lyrics are thoughtful and Biblical, his music is very well done and enjoyable to listen to. And given you are also a mom of young children, you can appreciate how wonderful it is to be able to listen to “adult” music that the kids will happily sing along with and request more of! So I am glad to hear Wes’ newest offering (btw, I’m having trouble accessing the link) appeals as well. Thanks for the great review.

Hey, and forgive me for advertising on your blog, but Jay just learned that if you purchase cd’s/cassettes from http://www.wesking.com, they will each be signed by the artist himself. The prices are comparable to Amazon’s, and I notice that Amazon actually has several of his albums currently unavailable for purchase. Ok, I’m done with my little commercial… 🙂
