Anything’s Possible

Evangeline is at that wonderful age where anything is possible.

One thing she loves to do is draw.  Will she be any good at it as an adult?  Who knows?  But for now, she practices at it all the time.  The horse above is one of her latest creations.  I like it,  but I’m her mom.  I love the colors and that she was really wanting to try drawing a horse as if she were facing it.

  1. Very nice. I like the perspective, too–something other than a horse standing stiffly in a field viewed from the side like I used to draw! Tell her to keep up the good work.

  2. I think it’s very nice! I used to draw horses all the time myself. I agree that it’s frameworthy!

I’m waiting for the day my boys will draw anything recognizable…

  3. Thanks everyone. I hope to mat and frame it soon. I would like to do that with more of my kids’ artwork, but time and $$ sometimes preclude me from getting it done. Perhaps this will be a new year’s resolution.

  4. Ikea sells cheap (like less than $4) frames in bright primary colors. Perfect for framing kid art and hanging in thier rooms.

We also have a few artists around here… A belated Merry Christmas to you all!
