Been awhile since I addressed the topic of preaching on this blog. But if a picture is worth a thousand words, I think this video is more efficient than anything I could write on the subject.

Good song. But in my experience (sitting in the pew), pastors’ stories involving wives have the pastor receiving the brunt of the story, not the wife — “I did this stupid thing . . .”
It’s pretty cool. But I think Jim is right. I don’t EVER humiliate my wife with a story about her. And if the story involves her, I make sure it is accurate or I’ll hear about it when I get home (and for the next week or month or year). 😉
This video clip was sent to me by an old friend. It looked to me that it was just done in fun, and not really implying that many pastors are stupid enough to use their wives as negative examples in their sermons.
