What is scary is that I don’t think any of this is a spoof. Perhaps the girl’s t-shirt was chosen for the piece, but everything else looks completely genuine. Remember, you’re not a gamer if you merely play the game but only if you revolve your life around it.
There is absolutely no reason it would be a spoof.
It sort of reminds me of people that live on a tropical island yet meet at school every Sat afternoon to play D&D.
Not that I or anybody I know ever did anything like that 😉
Ssshhhhh
That sounds as silly as a child raised on the coast of liberia West Africa who had to snorkel away from aggressive moray eels and stingrays and sharks and who constantly complained that he wanted to have an adventure (which involved swords and talking animals, at least).
Yeah, Mark, who even got to go on a crocodile hunt in a boat in the middle of the night! And much like the theoretical kids Chris mentions above who only wanted to get away from that tropical island for a mall with a video arcade and a McDonald’s.
