I once had the honor of meeting Michael Bauman in the flesh.  He actually called and offered me encouragement when I got into a public published (as in a Christian news magazine with real paper, not a blog) brawl with a Reformed leader.

I had forgotten about his web page.  Here is an essay of his I read when they it was compiled with others in a book: “Peer Pressure, Confessionalism and the Corruption of Judgment.”
