From my alma mater, I see Dr. David Chapman has decided to point out the fictional journalism that has been circulating among the public lately. Dr. Chapman is Assistant Professor of New Testament and Biblical Archeology and he received his Ph.D. from the University of Cambridge. I know lots of unbelievers like to think we just make stuff up but, sorry, there is real historical scholarship going on in the Christian world. This ain’t Mormanism, you know, with a bunch of fictionalized history of North America. The real Jesus actually left evidence (his body in a tomb being copiously absent from any such collection).

I’m glad Dr. Chapman took the time to deal with the issue.
