BH 2005 deals/selections

In this post, I pointed out that the audio recordings of the Biblical Horizons 2005 conference on Ecclesiastes and Wisdom Literature are available and well worth buying. Someone pointed out that it wouldn’t be easy to part with forty bucks at one time. Could I point out two or three favorites?

Well, I’m not sure I’m ready to decide my favorites, but, if you want to spend less, I advise buying what is available from a single lecturer or on a specific topic.

Or perhaps you are interested in Shakespeare. Peter gave three lectures:

If you want to save even more money, there is one stand-alone message:

Finally, if you are willing to part with about sixteen dollars, Jim Jordan’s lectures on the nature of Wisdom literature, and the meaning of Ecclesiastes, are excellent.

These are all very good, and they provide great insight on the Bible and life.

As for my single favorite message–that’s easy: Eat, Drink, & Be Merry. Jim’s sermon is excellent.
