I’ve not met PL personally, but I have read a few of his articles (which I enjoyed), and have heard good things about him from some of my fellow students at UD. So with that said, I take this as a compliment!
Cynthia, it may also mean you need to have and raise more children than you can shake a stick at and hold down a few full time jobs while engaged in meaty blogging and writing of books at a pace faster than many readers can keep up with. Yeah, any comparison to Leithart is a high compliment!
I would imagine that PL would give his wife a good deal of credit for his accomplishments, particularly the child bearing/raising part ; ), not to mention creating an environment conducive to study, writing, etc.
I didn’t mean to burden Cynthia with any of my “expectations” either! 😉
And, speaking for myself, I would probably envy Dr. Leithart if I was even remotely close enough to his plane of achievement to make such feelings meaningful.
This is great! As the Russians say, “молодец!”

p.s. Mark, you are too funny.
OK, I”m glad you think it is funny because I did not mean to burden you with any of Chris’ expectations!
Dear Mark,
Most definitely taken as humorous : )
Warm regards,
Cynthia
