Veronica Mars: The College Years

Season Three is almost here. If you missed your chance to bond with your youth group during the Buffy years, you can now make up for it!

Here is a rundown of the major characters. I’ve watched both previous seasons and still needed the help. (Hat Tip: Jandy the Meanderer).

Also, if this all really touches your inner thirteen-year-old girl (Logan & Veronica 4ever!), then you can reach out and express yourself at Triton Web. [Edit: Actually, the reason you need something like this is because it is unbearable to work through over twenty episodes without a place to share your guesses about whodunit.]

If you need it, here’s some more encouragement (though I think the comparison to Lost may go over the top, but only slightly).

On the other hand, if V. discovers an underground military base at the college, I will stop watching.

Wow, how did I miss this post when you made it? I don’t think it hit my pingback page until the last day or two. Weird. Anyway, the comparison to Lost is totally not over the top. 😉 Lost is a tight show structurally, but in terms of dialogue and character development, VM has it hands down. Also in terms of self-contained shows…it’s much closer to the arc-balancing heights of Buffy than Lost is.

But my real question: How did you find TritonWeb?! I didn’t mention it to you, did I? I’m actually a mod over there, but it’s never really taken off like we hoped it would. (Competing with Television Without Pity proved to be too much, especially since TritonWeb launched right after a big TWoP-led fan event.) Maybe we can revitalize it this year…

How did I hear about TritonWeb? You blogged about it. How else?

BTW, I saw UltraViolet and liked it. It wasn’t much different than Equilibrium. I’m not saying it was high culture, but I think rottentomatoes misled me.

Ah, so it was through me. I wondered. Must’ve been on livejournal, then…pretty sure I haven’t mentioned it anywhere else. High culture is overrated. 😉 I was only so-so on Equilibrium. But I like Milla Jovovich a LOT, so I’m still planning to enjoy Ultraviolet superficially, anyway. Once I get around to seeing it. I’ve seen one movie this month. It’s totally pathetic.
