I don’t have time to summarize the first chapter, but it is even better than I remembered. Obviously, Alexander Schmemann was not a Reformed Protestant. But he was still well worth a discriminating read.
His writing was not only helpful but also beautiful.
I just read Chapter 6 –Trampling Down Death by Death– which was included in Schmemann’s book, “O Death Where is Thy Sting? That chapter as well as the whole book was an excellent read.
