I’m as die-hard a capitalist as anyone, but doesn’t this video make you queasy? At the very least, it demonstrates to me that the primary different between PBS and for-profit network programming is the amount of sheer hypocrisy in the former.
Not for profit. Right.
So who is that targeted at? Corporate donors? Retailers?
It’s interesting that none of those predictions came to pass: Jay Jay did not really catch on, did he? He wasn’t exactly the next big thing. Why? I don’t think “kids love Jay Jay” as the video tried to lead us to believe. My children found him horribly annoying.
