Since the season is coming, it is time to provide vaccines to common diseases that spread among Christians during this time of year.
Don’t worry. The medicine is not only helpful, but it tastes good too.

Excellent post. I have never had much success in convincing some that “the game is over, and the good guys won.” Many just insist that if you allow your kids to trick or treat, you are engaging in a Satanic ritual.

That’s good stuff. I’m totally stealing that link.
I can’t tell you how many times I’ve given that article to people. I wrote one of my own two years ago. I’ll try to post it over on my blog tonight.
I participated in distributing some of those infamous anti-Halloween tracts when I taught in a Christian school. There I was, purportedly in the business of teaching truth, and I was propagating lies.
And just who is the father of lies? I can’t imagine who . . . Let me just tap on Mr. Noggin . . . Hmm, could it be . . . SATAN?????
Be forewarned. What Jordan asserts could easily be dismissed: http://www.bbc.co.uk/religion/religions/features/halloween/index.shtml
Jordan’s article is laughable in its blaring historical inaccuracies and logical blunders. Whatever conclusion you come to on this issue, I cannot see why one would insist that Jordan’s article is a significant contribution to the discussion.
Good grief…
Whatever your position on this Halloween absurdity – could we not be celebrating something far more noble on October 31st?
Wittenberg? Luther? 95 these? Anyone with me on this?
