Face off or back to back against a common enemy?

  1. Theology is important, transcendent, superior to mundane life. It must always be our first priority over against the life of the church.
  2. Theology is peripheral to life. It is an appendage to the Church and of secondary concern to ministry.

Positions 1 and 2 are obviously exagerrated. But even so, they might help us see something more accurately.

In this case, I think one should easily see that 1 and 2 are pretty much the same thing.
