- Theology is important, transcendent, superior to mundane life. It must always be our first priority over against the life of the church.
- Theology is peripheral to life. It is an appendage to the Church and of secondary concern to ministry.
Positions 1 and 2 are obviously exagerrated. But even so, they might help us see something more accurately.
In this case, I think one should easily see that 1 and 2 are pretty much the same thing.
