“Justification,” is an absolutely necessary term. If it was necessary for Paul then we can’t do without it.

All joking aside, I think “justification” is an incredibly comprehensible term in today’s culture (our culture!). Think of all the lawyer shows we watch. And our four gospels all climax in a courtroom drama. How could that fail to communicate?
