…wasted on the young

No, this was not its longest. The fact that my bangs don’t hang over my eyes or reach from the center of my forehead to my ears, tells you that I’m becoming rather tame at this point.

Is it embarrassing?

No, this is really embarrassing! God forgive the fanboy sins of my youth.

PS: And by the way, Chris always looked clean cut and conservative… so there! 😉

If you think this will goad me into scanning a high school picture you are sadly mistaken 😉 However, I did post a photo from sophomore year of college not too long ago at http://www.odonnellweb.com/?p=3169

I never wanted to be clean cut back then but the unfortunate fact was that even late in my college career I could go 2 or 3 days without shaving and nobody would notice. I was never going to achieve the scruffy rock star look I so desperately wanted!

Mark! You’ve been holding out on us. I can tell from the second photo that you are, in fact, the mysterious missing Nicholas from “Eight is Enough.”

Dad is having too much fun with his new toy! Of course, using negatives he’s more prone to get the pictures backward, which he did on the one you linked. BTW, Chris, I’ll see if he can turn up any of you. Jay is having fits over how often he got pictured wearing rather short shorts and long socks, but his friends were dressed the same way.

I think your mom just threatened me with that offer to dig up some old pictures of me 🙂

Seriously, I have a photo album with a few pictures of us painting our trash can during graduation week, and a few more of Bruce, his brother and I goofing off as I finished off that role of film. And that’s about it. There are probably more pictures of me in the yearbook than I own personally from those 2 years.

Can you imagine high school seniors today getting away with decorating their trash barrel to look like a Budweiser can? I might have to scan one of those in and post it.
