Which report did the committee approve? Sean? Anyone?

I felt a little stupid for sounding paranoid when I asked that question, but now I have to ask another one.

Is the pdf file now replacing the html version by byfaithonline, with the entirely undeclared changes, the final draft? Was it drafted by the committee? Will it undergo more changes up to GA? How long will we have to evaluate the “real” final draft of the report?

I have one but I’m waiting to make sure there are no more.

I was told that the report had been written and sent in (though only in time for presbyters to receive it when they arrive in Memphis, home of… never mind, that’s another post).

Now it is different. And there is no acknowledgement anywhere of the change.

    The war goes on.

The change is on the bottom of p. 2230 and top of 2231 of the new document (p. 23 on the old one). The reference to and quotation from Douglas Wilson was removed and a statement made by Steve Wilkins added. No notation is made to indicate a change was made.

Elvis and the Ancient Greeks! (Only it was Egyptians…)

And that, my friends, is the extent of my knowledge of the Talking Heads…thanks to my older brother’s being enamored of that very line.

Are you kidding me? Then what document will we be voting on come GA? With no notation of the correction, how will we know? Certainly some people read the article in its original form when it came out and will not pour over it again with out someone telling them to do so. This is so bizarre.

It would have been nice if someone actually told everyone of the change in the original document. Perhapos this can be an issue to force a pause in the voting at GA since there are now two reports being circulated around the net.
