OK, I just saw the 300.  Not that impressed.

Aside from the thing commonly called Christianity, let’s think of all the debts that Western Civilization owes.

Thank God for the Macedonians who actually did something with the Greek tribal centers (aka “cities”).

Thank God for the Romans.

Thank God for the Visigoths, Franks, Germans, etc.

Thank God for the Celts (this one gets overplayed at the moment but still)

Thank God for the Norsemen.

Etc.

The Great thing about Western Civilization is that it is not Greek.  It is truly mult-cultural.

So we don’t kill unwanted babies like the stupid Greeks anymore.  (Oh, wait)
