That was fun to read. Remember how difficult a simple phone call was when you left for college in upstate New York and we were on Kwajalein? Even email, which we had when Jay left 4 years later, was a huge improvement!
I’m thinking Mom should be more worried about who the 10 year old is video chatting with. We are probably downright permissive when it comes to the kids and computers, but I let wouldn’t either my 13 or 11 year old video chat with anybody other than family. And it didn’t sound like the kid was chatting with Grandma.
