A question for fellow presbyters: How many iBooks at GA this year?

The reason I’m asking is that I never really have enough time to interact with people at GA because of floor business. I’ve been thinking about this and I was thinking of a way for us to all redeem the time.

How about a good game of Halo: Combat Evolved via wireless dsl? You wouldn’t even have to buy the game, since the free demo has a great CTF map. We can play up to sixteen at a time, plus, if there are more, we could break up into teams and have a championship through the week.

Of course, I think we’ll need to make a few rules. I for one don’t want to be using my touchpad against some trigger happy soldier with a wireless mouse! But it should be pretty simple. And a lot more fun than commonly occurs on the floor. And it will all be completely undisruptive as long as we keep the volume way down. Who’s going to think twice about a commissioner hunched over his laptop during the umpteenth report?

Let me know if you’re interested. We need to make sure our location is hooked up for wireless. It might also be necessary to get a dedicated server to do it right. I’ll have to check with the tech guys.

[I hate to insult your intelligence, but I have found one can never risk failing to state the obvious: the above is all in jest. I don’t know if it is actually funny or not, but it is at least an attempt at humor.]
