Girl Meets Nail Polish

spring early summer 2006 118.jpg Having a sister who is 4 years older than you provides many learning opportunities. The birthday party mentioned in my last post that was full of all things girlie left us with several bottles of nail polish. Charis has already learned how to apply it. Here she is demonstrating her new skill. What you can’t tell by the picture is that she is also good at getting it on her (new) dress. But don’t be dismayed, nail polish remover and shout together did a great job getting out the stain.

  1. Wow, you are brave! I make Georgia sit perfectly still while I apply nail polish and blow it dry with a hair dryer…maybe when number 4 comes around (if?) I’ll be as brave as you!

  2. Jessie,
No. It’s not bravery. It’s distraction. Since I didn’t see her getting out the nail polish in the first place, I just went with it. But now, Evangeline is under strict warning to put away the nail polish where Charis can’t get it.

  3. I just painted my toenails this morning for the first time in maybe a year — I sure could’ve used help from Evangeline or Charis!
