Yesterday, Charis’s cast came off–yeah!!! We are so grateful that she is free to play normally again. The cast didn’t really slow her down any though. If anything, it honed her walking skills. When she broke her arm, she was walking, but she would resort to crawling when it seemed more convenient. After the cast was on, crawling became more difficult, so walking was the better, easier option of getting where she wanted to go.
